Oh, hello. I haven't written on this thing for a solid six or seven months (okay, so it's been about ten, but who's counting, right?)
Anyway, if I want to be a writer I should prolly write something, huh? I'm going to try to write something every day, but I may or may not succeed. So, let's see, what's new?
Oh yeah, I -love- being married. Prolly the best decision of my life. My husband is the greatest man on Earth.
Ummmm....Living on my own is pretty cool, except for the whole being responsible for my own bills part. That majorly sucks. My job rocks. I work in the Kid-Zone at the YMCA, and I adore what I do. Sure, sometimes the kids are brats (but more often it's the parents I have a problem with), but by and large, it's awesome.
I have decided that when I do go back to school that I want to teach High School. It's not that I don't like little kids, it's just, I don't like teaching the basics. I'd prefer having class debates over poetry to telling a classroom of five-year-olds that 'A' makes the 'ah' sound.
I've recently developed an interest in Japanese music (in addition to my existing obsession with Japanese everything else). Gakt is a good band, and Ali Project and 12012 are just loev. There is no other way to describe them. I hope I can go to another anime convention soon, since they usually have some sort of concert or another, but with my current fiscal situation, that doesn't look likely. (please see the sentance about paying bills above.)
My 22nd birthday is a little over two months away. It's so weird, but if you'd told me two years ago that I'd be getting married, I'd have called you a liar, or laughed in your face. Anyway, um, It's going to be hard to celebrate my birthday, seeing as how all my friends have gone off on their own little adventures. (or else won't talk to me because I'm married and 'it's weird'.) Okay, so my Plan as of right now is:
1. Enroll in school ASAP
2. Get my associates in English Lit.
3. Get my Substitute Teacher cert.
4. Possibly start my family
5. (or 4 if 4 doesn't happen at that time) be a sub teacher or TA whilst getting my bachelor's degree.
6. Once all my kids are in school become a High School English Teacher.
7. (or hopefully sooner) Write a best selling novel, and become a professional writer.
And, yeah, that's where I'm at.
