    Sickness

I am extremely ill at the moment.

Occupational hazard, I guess. Like knowing the words to almost every Disney song ever. I mean, if there's one thing kids don't mind sharing, it's germs.

At times like this I'm glad and sad that all my friends live in my computer. Glad that I can talk to them without getting them sick, but sad cause they're all miles and miles away, and cannot stop by and wish me good health, and maybe bring me a mug of soup.

Not that I'm complaiing, Hubby-kins is doing an excellent job of taking care of me. Shhh! Don't tell him I'm on here, I'm supposed to be in bed, b ut I just felt a need to share with you the fact that I am as sick as a dog.

    I loev you!

    Well Then...

Oh, hello. I haven't written on this thing for a solid six or seven months (okay, so it's been about ten, but who's counting, right?)

Anyway, if I want to be a writer I should prolly write something, huh? I'm going to try to write something every day, but I may or may not succeed. So, let's see, what's new?

Oh yeah, I -love- being married. Prolly the best decision of my life. My husband is the greatest man on Earth.

Ummmm....Living on my own is pretty cool, except for the whole being responsible for my own bills part. That majorly sucks. My job rocks. I work in the Kid-Zone at the YMCA, and I adore what I do. Sure, sometimes the kids are brats (but more often it's the parents I have a problem with), but by and large, it's awesome.

I have decided that when I do go back to school that I want to teach High School. It's not that I don't like little kids, it's just, I don't like teaching the basics. I'd prefer having class debates over poetry to telling a classroom of five-year-olds that 'A' makes the 'ah' sound.

I've recently developed an interest in Japanese music (in addition to my existing obsession with Japanese everything else). Gakt is a good band, and Ali Project and 12012 are just loev. There is no other way to describe them. I hope I can go to another anime convention soon, since they usually have some sort of concert or another, but with my current fiscal situation, that doesn't look likely. (please see the sentance about paying bills above.)

My 22nd birthday is a little over two months away. It's so weird, but if you'd told me two years ago that I'd be getting married, I'd have called you a liar, or laughed in your face. Anyway, um, It's going to be hard to celebrate my birthday, seeing as how all my friends have gone off on their own little adventures. (or else won't talk to me because I'm married and 'it's weird'.) Okay, so my Plan as of right now is:

    1. Enroll in school ASAP

    2. Get my associates in English Lit.

    3. Get my Substitute Teacher cert.

    4. Possibly start my family

    5. (or 4 if 4 doesn't happen at that time) be a sub teacher or TA whilst getting my bachelor's degree.

    6. Once all my kids are in school become a High School English Teacher.

    7. (or hopefully sooner) Write a best selling novel, and become a professional writer.

And, yeah, that's where I'm at.

Wow. Eight weeks until I'm a married woman. Technically, I guess it's something like eight weeks and two days, but who's counting?

I thought I'd be freaking out about the concept of being someone's wife, but somehow it just feels very natural. Don't get me wrong, I'm freaking out about the details of the actual ceremony: the cake, the shoes, feeding 150+ people. However, I'm very comfortable about the idea of being married. I know I definitely picked the most awesome guy in the world to spend the rest of my life with. I picked a guy who came over to my house after work because I was sick...and then ended up sick too. I picked a guy who gets me presents for no reason at all. I picked someone who loves me even when I'm being silly or sarcastic or having a hissy fit. I picked a guy who proposed on New Years Eve because he says marrying the most beautiful, smartest, funniest woman in the world was his resolution.

I know that the little details of our wedding ceremony aren't nearly as important as the fact that we love each other. I know that 20 years down the road, the wedding isn't as important as the marriage. I know this, but I want our ceremony to truly reflect our love for each other. I also want to honor our family and friends who also love us.

I feel truly blessed to be living the life I am. I have the love of a good man, the support of not one, but two wonderful families, and I have the greatest friends in the world. With all the good I have in my life, it's a wonder I'm not more of a spoiled brat than I am. God must really love me to put such good people in my life.

    So...ummm...hi?

Okies, for those of you who don't know, I'm getting married on 27JUL07. I met him in October (on myspace if you can believe it) and our first date was November 4th. I know this might be a total shocker so feel free to harass me via e-mail. I will mail reception invitations to anyone who wants them provided I have a current address. I expect lots of pot holders. n.~ (j/k)

Okay, so, what else? Um, I work at the kid's club of 24hr fitness. I love it! It is truely the best job in the whole world. I complain about sticky (and bratty) three-year-olds and watching every Disney movie ever made a bajillion times, but I seriously wouldn't trade it for a six-figure salary.

I hope to be updating here more frequently in the future, but don't quote me on it. I'm capricious and spontaneous, and have a fairly short attention span. Hopefully I'll post again before my birthday. I'm going to celebrate by going to Anime Matsuri. Maybe I'll see some of yous guys there, that'd be pretty awesome. On Friday I plan on cosplaying Ban Mido of the GetBackers (and yes, it's one word capitalized just like that) and on Saturday, me, my fiance and some others will be cosplaying 8-Bit Theatre. I'm going to be Red Mage and I'm working like a dog on my costume. However, I'm having a problem with the funds at the moment. (do you know how expensive a wedding is?!)

Okay, I think that does it for catching up...if I've forgotten something, let me know. lol.

    - The Galaxy Song

    Here's a llama
    There's a llama
    And another little llama
    Fuzzy llama
    Funny llama
    Llama llama
    Duck

    Llama llama
    Cheesecake
    Llama
    Tablet
    Brick
    Potato
    Llama
    Llama llama
    Mushroom
    Llama
    Llama llama
    Duck

    I was once a treehouse
    I lived in a cake
But I never saw the way
    The orange slayed the rake
I was only three years dead
    But it told a tale
    And now listen, little child
    To the safety rail

Did you ever see a llama
    Kiss a llama
    On the llama
    Llama's llama
    Tastes of llama
    Llama llama
    Duck

    Half a llama
    Twice the llama
    not a llama
    Farmer
    Llama
    Llama in a car
    Alarm a llama
    Llama
    Duck

Is THIS how it's told now?
    Is it all so old?
Is it made of lemon juice?
    Doorknob
    Ankle
    Cold
Now my song is getting thin
    I've run out of luck
Time for me to retire now
    And become a duck
